Ronald Weller
Ron is an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney. He handles criminal appeals on behalf of the state of Connecticut at the Appellate and Supreme Courts. After graduating from Washington University (St. Louis) and Western New England Law School, Ron clerked for the Honorable David M. Borden on the Connecticut Supreme Court. Thereafter, he worked as a civil trial attorney before becoming a prosecutor.
Ron has taught at UConn Law School and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Quinnipiac Law School, where he has taught Criminal Procedure and is currently the Moot Court Society faculty advisor and teaches the Prosecution Appellate Clinic. Ron is also a POST instructor for the Connecticut Police Academy and is a Public Safety Scuba instructor for police and fire dive teams.
