Audrey A. Felsen, Esq.
Audrey Felsen has more than 25 years of experience devoted to the practice of criminal defense. She represents individuals at every stage of state and federal criminal proceedings, from early investigation through trial, as well as in post-conviction matters and record erasure proceedings. Ms. Felsen is admitted to practice in Connecticut and before the United States District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Ms. Felsen also serves as an independent investigator for colleges and private schools in connection with Title IX allegations and other disciplinary matters before conduct review boards.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Felsen serves as the District Representative for the District of Connecticut’s Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel, where she assists in overseeing the delivery of appointed counsel services in federal criminal cases. She is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the outgoing President and former Executive Board Member of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and a board member of Connecticut Support Treatment and Reentry, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitation and reentry support for individuals involved in the federal criminal justice system.
Ms. Felsen has also served as an adjunct law instructor at Sacred Heart University and regularly appears as a guest speaker at local colleges and universities on issues related to criminal law and the criminal justice system.
Ms. Felsen earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. Ms. Felsen has been recognized by her peers as a Top Lawyer in Fairfield County and is a past recipient of the Diane Polan Award, honoring her commitment to zealous advocacy and professional excellence.
