Easha Canada

Easha is the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Strategy Officer for the Department of Social Services at the State of Connecticut. She is accountable for benefit operations, analytics, project management execution, business analysis, including all matters related to aligning and measuring the strategic initiatives for the agency.  Easha  previously served as the Chief Digital Officer where she launched efforts to reimagine the new business registration process and streamlined back office operations.

Prior to joining state service Easha spent 25 years in the private sector holding various technology leadership positions with The Hartford, Travelers and Cigna.

Easha earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Post University. She serves as a technology advisor and board member of the Connecticut Paid Family Leave Authority. 

Easha lives in Connecticut with her husband and their three children.
