The Honorable Cody N. Guarnieri is a judge of the Connecticut Superior Court.  Immediately prior to his judicial appointment, Judge Guarnieri was a senior partner and trial attorney at the law office of Brown, Paindiris & Scott, LLP.  His law practice focused on criminal defense, complex civil litigation, and defending professional licenses.  Judge Guarnieri was the 2021 recipient of the Judge Maxwell Heiman Memorial Award by the Hartford County Bar Association.  He received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees, cum laude, from Eastern Connecticut State University and earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
