The Honorable Barry F. Armata is a judge of the Connecticut Superior Court, having been appointed to the bench in May, 2017.  Prior to his appointment to the Bench, Judge Armata was a Partner in the firm of Brown Paindiris & Scott, LLP. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981 from Boston College and his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 1983. In addition to serving on the board of the Connecticut Bar Foundation, Judge Armata actively engages in a variety of other charitable and civic activities, including chairing the James W. Cooper Fellows Roundtable Program.
