Hon. Lisa K. Morgan
Hon. Lisa Kelly Morgan is a Judge of the Superior Court serving in the Hartford Judicial District. She was appointed to the Superior Court in 2010 by Governor M. Jodi Rell.
Judge Morgan currently serves as the presiding judge of the Hartford civil division. Prior to her assignment to Hartford, Judge Morgan served in the New Britain Judicial District as the presiding judge of the civil division for six years and as the Administrative Judge for five years. She has also presided over family and criminal matters.
Judge Morgan earned a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University in 1984 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1987. Prior to her nomination, Judge Morgan worked as a civil litigator in Hartford for 23 years.
Judge Morgan resides in Wethersfield.
